Our History

Originally founded in 1961 by Mr. Fontanese, the firm became a Professional Corporation in 1985 as Fontanese Folts Aubrecht Architects. In 1997, longtime associate Paul Ernst joined as a partner, with the firm name updated in 2000 to reflect his leadership. Ivan Garcia and Raymond Murphy were named partners in 2017, further expanding our leadership team. Our depth of experience is also supported by William Heidt, who joined FFAE in 2011 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2018.

Our Process

With four registered architects supported by a skilled team of technical experts and administrative staff, we are committed to understanding and delivering on each client’s unique needs. Every project is led by a dedicated partner who serves as the primary point of contact, supported by a co-partner, a Project Architect, and the necessary technical personnel to ensure seamless execution. Our firm prioritizes clear communication, accessibility, and responsiveness at every stage of the project.
