The Project consists of a one-story clinic addition of approximately 2,700 square feet and some minor interior alterations where connected to the existing two-story building. The design of the facility provides a supervised and procedural way to circulate up to 200 clients needing medication on a daily basis. Considerations for controlled substances had to be incorporated into the design without impacting the ability to serve many clients in a quick manner.
The result is another facility on the UConnectCare (formerly GCASA- GCASA Genesee Orleans Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse) campus which contributes to the continuum of care for clients living in Genesee or Orleans counties who are seeking recovery from addiction to drugs or alcohol.
