The Buffalo Veteran Affairs Medical Center renovated its outpatient Infusion Ward to increase the capacity of patients (from 8 spaces up to 14), while making the space more comfortable and home like for the patients.
The renovation was focused on providing privacy to patients, adding amenities to all treatment spaces, and streamlining the infusion process between nurses and patients.
Along with the renovation of the space, a new mechanical unit was added to handle the heating and cooling needs of the entire seventh fl oor Infusion ward wing as well as the 8th fl oor (approx. 20,000 sq. ft.).
